Manchester City have made an offer of £70m to sign West Ham star Lucas Paqueta this summer.
The Cityzens are looking for the best legs to replace Ilkay Gundogan and Riyad Mahrez who both left the club this summer.
Paqueta became a key player at West Ham after just one season at the club, following his £51 million move from Lyon a year ago.
GloboEsporte reports that Pep Guardiola’s side have already submitted a £70m bid for the Brazilian.
However, West Ham are expected to reject the offer as they set their eyes on a higher fee.
According to the report, Guardiola was keen on bringing in the Brazilian midfielder as a potential replacement for Bernardo Silva.
Barcelona want to sign Silva this summer but the Portuguese is also considering extending his stay at the Etihad.
