Talks are ongoing between Liverpool and Al Ettifaq over a deal for Jordan Henderson.
According to reports, there is no agreement between the clubs yet.
The Saudi Arabia club thought they would be able to sign the Reds captain on a free transfer.
But with two years remaining on his contract at Anfield, Liverpool are believed to be demanding £20million for their skipper.
Fabrizio Romano reports Henderson has verbally accepted terms with Steven Gerrard’s new club, agreeing a three-year deal worth £700,000-a-week.
But there is no chance Liverpool will allow their leader to leave on a free, and so it’s up to the club now to find a price, leaving the deal in doubt
