Italian side Inter Milan have pulled out of the deal to re-sign Romelu Lukaku from Chelsea, according to reports.
Milan-based Italian journalist Gianluca Di Marzio claims Inter are no longer interested in a deal for the striker after he signalled that he would be interested in a move to arch rivals Juventus.
Chelsea and Inter have been in talks for weeks over a deal to take Lukaku back to the San Siro on a permanent deal, although it appeared those negotiations were not progressing quickly.
Lukaku has made it clear he wanted to stay put at Inter, but Di Marzio says the club has been left ‘deeply disappointed’ by the Belgian striker’s recent behaviour.
Lukaku has been accused of ignoring Inter chiefs and his former teammates, who have found out that he has opened the door to a move to Juventus, instead, and has spoken to the Turin giants through his representatives.
