Paris Saint-Germain forward Kylian Mbappe is the subject of a world record transfer bid to move to Saudi Arabia.
talkSPORT quoted reports in Europe as saying that Saudi Pro League club Al Hilal have tabled a formal offer of £259million [€300m] to Paris Saint-Germain.
Football transfer expert Fabrizio Romano also reports claims that at this point there have been no talks with the player.
Mbappe said earlier this summer he plans to play one more season at PSG before leaving on a free next summer, with suggestions he has already agreed terms with Real Madrid.
However, PSG are keen to sell the World Cup winner this summer to ensure they don’t lose one of the world’s best players for nothing.
And so it is claimed he could move to Saudi Arabia and spend one season in the Saudi Pro League, before signing that deal with Real Madrid next year as expected.
However, £259m is a hell of a lot of money to spend to have Mbappe for just one just campaign.
