Manchester United goalkeeper David de Gea has entered talks with Saudi giants Al Hilal over a potential move this summer.
Saudi outlet So3ody Sport reports that the Spaniard has started discussions with Al-Za’eem.
Despite winning the Premier League’s golden glove at the end of the season, De Dea was heavily criticised by pundits and fans of the club over some errors that cost the Red Devils.
The former Spain’s number one will see his contract expire at the end of this month and there has been no indication that a new deal has been signed off.
Speculation has continued to grow over a potential departure and the 32-year-old, who is the longest-serving player at Old Trafford, having joined the club from Atletico Madrid in 2011, is believed to be heading to Saudi Super League.
Many have questioned his capabilities to be the ball-playing goalkeeper manager Erik ten Hag likes his team to possess.
He was at fault for Ilkay Gundogan’s second strike in Manchester City’s 2-1 win over Ten Hag’s side in the FA Cup final.
Al Hilal are looking to bolster their squad with world-class signings.
