Ronaldo’s brief stint as a free agent has come to an end after weeks of rumors. Following a medical that was first suggested on Boxing Day, CBS is reporting that the Portugal international has agreed terms to join Saudi outfit Al-Nassr after severing ties with United back in November.

The 37-year-medical old’s was first mentioned on Boxing Day, according to the most recent information, which was confirmed by the Saudi outlet Arriyadiyah.

These tests are believed to have already been administered in their first stage, with the second stage scheduled for next week.

Although a transfer to Al-Nassr was first reported at the end of November, the announcement was postponed after additional, more serious suitors in Europe and elsewhere emerged, signaling the end of Ronaldo’s top-level playing career.

All that is required now for Ronaldo’s transfer to be finalized is confirmation from both the club and the player.
