Arsenal striker, Folarin Balogun, could be heading to Monaco this summer.
The 22-year-old has reportedly reached an initial agreement with the French side.
Balogun, a USA international, spent last season on loan at Reims, where he scored 21 goals in Ligue 1.
Balogun intensified his desire to leave the Emirates Stadium after he was left out of the squad for their victory over Manchester City in the Community Shield on Sunday.
RMC Sport reports that Ligue1 giants, Monaco have submitted an opening bid of €40 million (£34m) which was rejected by Arsenal.
However, the Ligue 1 side intend to come back with an improved offer for the player.
The French side has made the signing of the Arsenal youth team product their priority this summer.
They have already reached an ‘agreement in principle’ with the striker.
