Al-Ettifaq have reached an agreement with Liverpool over the transfer of Jordan Henderson.
The Reds’ captain was left out of the squad for Wednesday evening’s pre-season friendly versus Karlsruher.
It appears increasingly likely Henderson’s time at the club is over and Fabrizio Romano has only added to this idea, reporting that an ‘agreement in principle’ has been found over the transfer fee Liverpool will receive for the midfielder.
Liverpool are set to receive an initial £12m for Jordan Henderson, with additional payments potentially being made through add-ons.
The Reds are due to earn for selling the skipper, who has been at the club since 2011.
