Chelsea fell 4-1 in the hands of Newcastle United in the Premier League on Saturday.
Alexander Isak gave the home side the lead in the 13th minute and Raheem Sterling put the visitors on level terms 10 minutes later.
The game remained tied until the 60th minute when Jamaal Lascelles restored Newcastle’s lead and under one minute Joelinton made 3-1.
To make matters worse, Chelsea’s captain Reece James got a second yellow card and was sent off with 17 minutes remaining before Anthony Gordon made it 4-1.
The defeat appears to have sent crashing the belief fans of the Stamford Bridge outfit were trying to rebuild.
Some of the Blues’ supporters took to social media to express displeasure over the disappointing result.
“The lion from Chelsea’s logo has left the club. He’s had enough,” one of the supporters wrote.
“Oh my God what happened to Chelsea,” another cries out.
“Chelsea fans thought that their team was back,” a fan of another club mocked.
“Chelsea giving me no joy so let’s just appreciate this Olise goal.
“Chelsea deserves this humbling so much.. They’ve been really loud lately. Hold dat.
“I see no reason why some people support Chelsea. How can you be so proud of supporting a useless club?”
