Italian Serie A side, Napoli, are ready to listen to offers for Super Eagles striker, Victor Osimhen, as the club pegs nothing short of €100m for the Nigerian’s service.
This is according to Italian publication Tutto Napoli which cited Napoli president Aurelio De Laurentiis as making the demands.
Since joining the club in 2020 on a record fee of £81m, Osimhen has displayed incredible form in two seasons, scoring 10 goals so far in the 2021/2020 Serie A season despite injuries.
This and many more have left Napoli on the reluctant side of selling the 23-year-old.
However, De Laurentiis, due to pressure and demands is now willing to listen to offers and won’t accept anything less than what he believes the striker is worth.
“The increasingly convincing performances and goals of Victor Osimhen in the Napoli shirt are increasing attention and polls towards the Nigerian forward in view of the summer,” the website statement read in part.
“Napoli’s idea is certainly not to deprive themselves of him in June, but a lot will depend on any offers and also on the ideas of the player and his entourage.
“At what figures? The starting point will be €100m, unless the president Aurelio De Laurentiis will not even sit at the negotiating table.”
