Liverpool vs Real Madrid: Thomas Muller makes prediction ahead of Champions League final

Thomas Muller of Bayern Munich has given his prediction for the UEFA Champions League final on May 28 between Liverpool and Real Madrid.

At the Stade de France, the two European heavyweights will fight for the European title. They’ll try to cap off a fantastic season for both teams by winning Europe’s most prestigious club trophy.

Liverpool has already secured two trophies this season, the Carabao Cup and the FA Cup.

Real Madrid, on the other hand, is the La Liga champion, having won the championship for the 35th time. In addition, they won the Supercopa de Espana.

Meanwhile, Bayern Munich’s Muller, 32, has won the Champions League on two occasions. He has stated his prediction for how things will play out in Paris on Saturday.

Jurgen Klopp’s side, according to the German attacker, will win in the same manner to how they won their two trophies this season. According to TZ, a German news outlet, he said:

“You get the feeling that Liverpool is better. But if you see what Real has done both in the league and especially in the Champions League, I wouldn’t write Madrid off. That’s why I say: 2 :2 – and Liverpool wins on penalties.”
