The 12th Women’s Africa Cup of Nations match between Nigeria and Morocco in Rabat has gone into extra time.

In the 70th minute, Rasheedat Ajibade of Nigeria was sent off.

After a VAR review, Ajibade received her second yellow card, bringing the number of Nigerians down to nine.

Prior to that, Nigeria was down to 10 players after Halimatu Ayinde was sent off in the 48th minute.

In the 66th minute against Nigeria, Morocco equalised.

Nigeria had already taken the lead thanks to a goal from Uchenna Kanu in the 62nd minute.

Despite Nigeria being down to nine players, the score is now tied at one.
