Head of the Croatian national team Zlatko Dalic has described Real Madrid midfielder Luka Modric as a flawless and perfect player.
Modric is arguably one of the best midfielders to have played the round leather and has been key for club and country in the last decade.
Modric,37, made a name for himself at Tottenham between 2008 and 2012 before joining Real Madrid for a reported fee of £30 million.
The one-time Ballon d’Or winner has won many trophies, including multiple Champions League, La Liga and Copa del Rey.
Speaking to UEFA, Dalic said (via Madrid Xtra): “Modrić always sees the right option on the pitch. He sees what other players don’t see.
“He’s superior [to others] in every possible way. You can’t find a single flaw in his game. You can only praise him. Luka is footballing perfection.”
