Foden voted Premier League Player of the Year

Manchester City playmaker, Phil Foden, has been named as the Premier League Player of the Season.

The 23-year-old has netted 17 goals and provided eight assists this season for current Premier League leaders.

Foden was also voted as the Football Writers’ Player of the Year earlier this month.

The England international was a two-time winner of the Premier League’s Young Player of the Season award in 2021 and 2022 and was nominated for the main award alongside Erling Haaland, Alexander Isak, Martin Odegaard, Cole Palmer, Declan Rice, Virgil Van Dijk and Ollie Watkins this year.

The award was decided by a combination of public votes and votes from football experts.
