IPOB leader Nnamdi Kanu reveals favourite EPL club ahead of final day clash

On Wednesday, the leader of the proscribed Indigenous People of Biafra, Nnamdi Kanu, told the Federal High Court in Abuja that he had been a fan of Liverpool Football Club since childhood.

Following their 2-1 win against Southampton, Liverpool has pushed this season’s Premier League title battle to the last matchday.

According to the News Agency of Nigeria, Nnamdi Kanu made this statement after his lawyer, Mike Ozekhome, claimed that the DSS has continued to deny his client enough time for visitation in jail.

While addressing his worry, Justice Nyako quipped that she used to love Liverpool and inquired about the lawyer’s favorite team.

According to report, Nyako then turned to Kanu and questioned if he was a Chelsea Football Club supporter, considering his affinity for the luxury attire he kept wearing to court.

Kanu said, “My team is Liverpool even from age of seven.”

The judge then instructed the DSS legal director present in court to enable Kanu to attend his favorite football club’s matches.
