Ajax manager, Erik ten Hag, has said he’s currently committed to the club amid links to Premier League giants, Manchester United.
Hag is among the top managers in Europe expected to take over from Ralf Rangnick who is currently occupying the managerial role at United on an interim basis.
Also listed is Thomas Tuchel of Chelsea and Luis Enrique.
However, of the other two, Hag is the only one that has held an interview with the club, a thing he played down as normal, saying speaking to other clubs is part of the game.
He, however, stated that he may likely take over as United manager in the near future.
He told Sport1: “My focus is currently only on Ajax, but in football, you never know.
“I don’t want to rule anything out. If at some point I decide to take the next step, I hope that people here will understand.
“Everyone knows each other in the industry. There are always talks with representatives from other clubs, that’s normal.
“Manchester United is a great club with great fans, but I can only repeat myself: my full focus is completely on Ajax! We are already planning for the new season.”
