EPL: Why Ronaldo will not play in Man Utd’s final game against Crystal Palace

Manchester United forward, Cristiano Ronaldo, will not play in their final Premier League fixture of this season at Crystal Palace.

According to The Athletic, the Portugal captain has a hip flexor issue.

Ronaldo would have been hoping to impress new boss Erik ten Hag, who will be in attendance at Selhurst Park on Sunday.

The 37-year-old has netted 24 times across all competitions since he returned to Old Trafford last year.

The Red Devils will be looking to defeat Palace to ensure they finish in sixth place and secure Europa League football for next season.
