Mauricio Pochettino’s new formation for Chelsea has been revealed.
The Argentine is said to have decided on the team’s new formation already.
According to The Athletic the former Tottenham boss has already settled on the formation he intends to use next season.
Pochettino officially began work on his seismic rebuilding project at Stamford Bridge at the start of July.
The report says that the players he has opted to retain have reacted positively to his methods.
The former Tottenham manager is said to have a firm idea of the system he will implement, regardless of who leaves the club this summer.
The Blues flitted between a back four and a back five last season under Thomas Tuchel, Potter and Frank Lampard, who were the three men who occupied the managerial hot seat.
However, Pochettino will set-up in a 4-2-3-1 system at Stamford Bridge which was the formation he used during his time at Spurs.
The Argentine will emphasise on the full-back providing an attacking outlet, according to The Athletic, which will play to the strengths of Reece James and Ben Chilwell.
Further forward, Pochettino also intends to play a conventional No.10, flanked by two wingers, behind a centre forward.
