Manchester City head coach Pep Guardiola has named four stars on his list that will sit out the bench for the Fulham clash as his team looks to retake the EPL top stot.
Erling Haaland will not be starting for Manchester City against Fulham at the Etihad Stadium.
The Norwegian, who has been dealing with a foot injury for a few weeks, is one of the City replacements after failing to demonstrate his readiness during the week.
Ruben Dias and Aymeric Laporte are also on the bench as Guardiola sticks with John Stones, Manuel Akanji, and Nathan Ake, while Phil Foden is once again left out of the starting lineup.
The current Premier League champions will have a front three consisting of Bernardo Silva, Julian Alvarez, and Jack Grealish, with the incomparable Kevin De Bruyne providing the midfield firepower. The other two starters for City in the middle of the park are Rodri and Ilkay Gundogan.
Meanwhile, Fulham are without Aleksandar Mitrovic, who is out due to injury and has four yellow cards for the season. Instead, Carlos Vinicius will start up front for Marco Silva, with Willian and Andreas Pereira providing support.
If City wins, they will return to the top of the Premier League standings, though they could fall once more if league leaders Arsenal defeat Chelsea at Stamford Bridge.
