Arsenal are no longer unbeaten in the Premier League this season, after they were beaten 1-0 at Newcastle United on Saturday.
The Gunners were looking to go back level with Manchester City at the top of the table, following the Premier League champions’ 6-1 drubbing of Bournemouth earlier in the day.
However, Mikel Arteta’s men failed to break through the hosts’ defence.
Anthony Gordon’s controversial goal in the second half was allowed to stand by VAR.
This was a huge battle but Newcastle fought and fought through those final stages to hold onto their lead and secure a big three points.
But make no mistake: you are going to hear a lot of debate about Gordon’s winner.
There were three elements of it checked by VAR, with Stockley Park unable to find a suitable camera angle to judge if it was offside.
