Former Chelsea midfielder Mason Mount has opened up on his heated exchange with Manchester United duo of Bruno Fernandes and Lisandro Martinez in the recent past.
The England international recently joined the Red Devils from Chelsea this summer. He revealed that he had an on-field altercations with Martinez and Fernandes during his time at Stamford Bridge.
He, however, has seemingly become very cordial with Martinez as he adapts to new surroundings at Old Trafford.
Mount was seen exchanging warm embraces with the Argentina international on several occasions.
When reminded about the altercations with Martinez, Mount told MUTV: “Of course, it is what it is. It is football, it happens. But now we’re on the same team and fighting together. It’s even better.”
Speaking about Fernandes, Mount said (as per Manchester Evening News): “We will probably work out. We have had a few fights on the pitch, but that is what it is all about when you are trying to win.”
