Southampton manager, Ruben Selles has said he will determine when next Joe Aribo will play for the team
Aribo has not featured in the Premier League since Selles took charge.
The Nigeria international has not been included in the matchday squad for six consecutive games.
The midfielder was a key player under Ralph Hasenhuttl earlier in the campaign and also featured prominently under Nathan Jones.
Selles said Aribo is working hard and will get his chance soon.
“Joe Aribo and Mislav Orsic are good players and are working well as much as the other ones,” Selles told a press conference on Friday.
“When the time comes, if I decide that they can come into the pitch, they will be ready because they are two great boys and they are working really hard.”
The 26-year-old has scored twice in 19 league appearances for the Saints this season.
He arrived at the St Mary’s Stadium from the Scottish Premiership club, Glasgow Rangers last summer.
