The prices of players for the 2023/2024 Fantasy Premier League have been released, with Manchester City’s Erling Haaland the most expensive asset.
Haaland finished the 2022/2023 campaign as the top-scoring player in the game last term, having totalled 272 points courtesy of 36 goals and nine assists.
He averaged over seven points per-start and ended the season with a price of £12.4m, after starting at just £11.5m following his move from Borussia Dortmund last summer.
Unsurprisingly, Haaland has got a huge price increase and will start the campaign at a record-equalling £14m. He becomes only one of four players to begin a season at that value, alongside Thierry Henry, Robin van Persie and Cristiano Ronaldo.
Despite his huge price hike, not many managers will not go without the Norwegian for City’s favourable-looking start to the Premier League season, which gets underway on August 11 with a trip to newly-promoted Burnley.
Pep Guardiola’s side also face Newcastle, Sheffield United, Fulham, West Ham and Nottingham Forest in their opening six matches as they look to secure their fourth successive Premier League title.
