Chelsea have announced that about 13 players are leaving that club ahead of the 2023/24 season.
French star Tiemoue Bakayoko is one these players as he has finally shown the exit door at Stamford Bridge.
Bakayoko joined the Blues from Monaco in 2017 for a whopping £40million fee and won the FA Cup in his first season in west London.
However, that very season was his last as he made 43 appearances for Chelsea, with the midfielder continuosly shipped out on loan.
Bakayoko was shipped to AC Milan and then Monaco and Napoli, before returning to Milan on a two-year loan in 2021.
He helped the San Siro outfit win the Scudetto in 2022, but was relegated to the bench in the recent campaign having been limited to just three Serie A outings
The Frenchman will leave Chelsea on a permanent basis when his deal expires at the end of the month.
A club statement read: “We thank Tiemoue for his contribution during his season at Stamford Bridge.”
Other players to depart Stamford Bridge are Dujon Sterling, Nathan Baxter, defenders Henry Lawrence and Juan Carlos Familia-Castillo.
Derrick Abu, Prince Adegoke, Bryan Fiabema, Joe Haigh, Sam McClelland, Sliko Thomas, Ethan Wady and Jayden Wareham will also be on their way.
