Arsenal goalkeeper, David Raya was at fault for Chelsea”s second goal.
It was his error that gifted Mykhailo Mudryk Chelsea’s second goal in their 2-2 draw with Arsenal in Saturday’s Premier League clash at Stamford Bridge.
Already came from two goals down to record a 2-2 draw with the Blues.
Cole Palmer scored from the spot in the first half while Mudryk netted the second after the break.
Raya allowed the Ukrainian miscued cross to drift over his head.
Mudryk was certainly gifted his first Chelsea goal by the Spaniard’s errant positioning.
And Manchester United legend, Gary Nevile acknowledged this, saying on Sky Sports, “His position Raya is not good enough he’s far too far forward that is not good from the Arsenal goalkeeper and that should not end up in the back of the net,” Neville told Sky Sports.
“It’s meant as a cross for Raheem Sterling from Mudryk. He doesn’t mean to chip him but the fact he can chip him isn’t right.
“He’s too far forward, there’s no doubt about that. He’s probably a yard too far off his line. He’s beyond the near post; it just isn’t right.
“Why is he there? You’ll have to ask him.
“Look, he worried me in the first half against city.
“He’s struggling in this period in the game. He knows that goal is on him. His mistake management isn’t quite there yet.
“It’s a pressure job goalkeeping at top clubs in the country and he’s finding that out.”
