Jurgen Klopp has made six changes to the Liverpool side that was thrashed 4-1 at Manchester City on Saturday – and there are some notable casualties.
Trent Alexander-Arnold, Virgil van Dijk and Andy Robertson all drop out of the starting XI as the manager tears apart the defence that for so long underpinned Liverpool’s success.
Joe Gomez, Joel Matip and Kostas Tsimikas come into the team, while Curtis Jones replaces Harvey Elliott in midfield.
There are two further changes in attack, as former Chelsea forward Mohamed Salah and Cody Gakpo are left on the bench, with Roberto Firmino and Darwin Nunez restored to the line-up.
