Highly sought after West Ham United midfielder Declan Rice has said that he would love to continue playing for the club next season.

The England international remained coy over his future at West Ham after helping the Hammers win the Europa Conference League.

West Ham defeated Italian side Fiorentina 2-1 with a late goal from Jarrod Bowen to help the London side end their 43-year wait for a major trophy.

Said Benrahma had given the Premier League side the lead with a second-half penalty but Giacomo Bonaventura drew Fiorentina level in a cagey final in Prague.

With the match seemingly heading to extra-time, Bowen latched onto Lucas Paqueta’s superb pass and beat the Fiorentina goalkeeper late on to clinch a narrow victory.

It may have been Rice’s last game for West Ham as Arsenal, Chelsea, Manchester United, Bayern Munich and Manchester City all battling for his signature.

“Look, at the moment there’s obviously a lot of speculation about my future,” the Hammers captain told BT Sport. “Obviously there is interest from other clubs, that’s out there.

“But ultimately I’ve still got two years left at West Ham and I love this club, I love playing for this club.

“There hasn’t been anything yet so my focus is playing for West Ham, enjoying tonight, and seeing what happens.

“I’m captain of this club, I absolutely love it to pieces, I absolutely cannot speak highly enough of this place. Let’s see what happens…Let’s wait and see, who knows.”
