Europa League final: Lookman scores hat-trick as Atalanta defeats Leverkusen

Ademola Lookman scored a hat-trick as Atalanta thrashed Bayer Leverkusen to win the 2024 Europa League final on Wednesday night.

The Super Eagles forward scored the first two goals in the first half.

Lookman opened the scoring in the 10th minute, reacting quickest in the box to Zappacosta’s low cross.

His second was a sublime curling effort into the bottom corner.

Lookman scored the third in the second half, finishing off a pass from Gianluca Scamacca with his left foot.

Atalanta now becomes the first Serie A side to win the competition.
