Arsenal will slug it out with Premier League table toppers, Manchester City on Sunday.
A win for the Gunner would put them one point above Pep Guardiola’s side while a defeat would mean four points behind the Cityzens.
Arsenal and their north London rivals Tottenham are standing alone as the teams yet to suffer defeat in the Premier League this term.
Their last game was in midweek where Arsenal suffered a 2-1 defeat to Lens while Manchester City beat RB Leipzig 3-1 all in the Champions League.
But the Gunners last outing in the English top flight saw them hammered Bournemouth 4-0 last weekend.
Manchester City on the other hand, suffered a shocking 1-0 defeat in the hands of Wolves and this was after a Carabao Cup loss to Newcastle United.
Arsenal have already ended their hoodoo against Manchester City by prevailing against them on penalties in the Community Shield at Wembley two months ago.
Going into Sunday’s clash however, Pep Guardiola’s side has defeated the Gunners in each of their last 12 top-flight games. Mikel Arsenal may likely play the game with Bukayo Saka and Gabriel Martinelli, among others.
Saka hobbled off in midweek with a suspected hamstring problem while Thomas Partey, who has been sidelined over a month, has returned to training.
Probable Lineup For Arsenal in 4-3-3 formation.
Raya; Ben White, Saliba, Gabriel, Zinchenko; Odegaard, Partey, Rice; Saka, Nketiah, Jesus
