AFCON 2024: What Nigerians are saying about Super Eagles group 

The draw for the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations, AFCON, was conducted at the Parc des Expositions, Abidjan, on Thursday. 

Nigeria was drawn in the same group with the hosts, Ivory Coast, Equatorial Guinea and Guinea-Bissau.

The Super Eagles have been backed to make it through the group stage.

However, the team must be carried away or attempt to underrate their opponents.

“On paper, Super Eagles should be topping this group with 9 points,” one of the fans said after watching the draw.

“I just hope we didn’t do our usual way, struggling out of where we ought to live in peace,” another wrote.

One other fan believes it’s a “Tricky group,” for the Super Eagles. 

“Good one for Nigeria! No excuse this time o,” another wrote on X.
