Ex-governor of Ogun State, Senator Ibikunle Amosun, has declared his intention to contest for president in the 2023 presidential election.
He joins Vice President Yemi Osinbajo, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, Rotimi Amaechi, Chris Ngige, Kayode Fayemi and many more on the platform of the All Progressives Congress who are jostling for the party’s ticket.
He made his declaration on Thursday at the Shehu Musa Yar’Adua Centre, Central Business District, Federal Capital Territory, Abuja.
His declaration comes 24 hours after Governor Fayemi of Ekiti and former governor of Edo State, Adams Oshiomhole, declared their intention for President.
All aspirants on the PC platform will jostle for the ticket come May 30 when the party holds primaries.
