Former presidential aide, Bahir Ahmad, has mocked the Labour Party and its presidential candidate, Peter Obi, saying they lack structure in about 25 states.
According to him, Labour Party has no structure in Kano State which has five million voters.
This is as he wondered how the supporters of the party and Peter Obi expect victory in the coming 2023 presidential election.
He tweeted, “In my state, Kano and neighbouring Kaduna, Katsina, Jigawa and Bauchi, the Labour Party doesn’t even have a whole gubernatorial candidate, if you don’t know what that means then congratulations!
“The PO supporters never fail to remind me about the results of my primaries, forgetting that the fear of getting 0 vote made their supreme leader, Peter Obi to run away from PDP to a tiny LP, which I am sure with my influence I would be begged to accept its presidential ticket.
“Did you know that Labour Party doesn’t have an office in Kano, a state with over 5,000,000 registered voters, not only that the party doesn’t have a single candidate in the whole 44 local governments in the state, and the story is so very similar in at least 25/36 states and FCT.”
