Nollywood actress, Tonto Dikeh has questioned Labor Party presidential aspirant, Peter Obi over his unveiling of borehole projects in some Northern states.
Taking to her Instagram page, the movie star questioned if the former governor was truly committed to taking this country to the next level. She stated that the idea that Nigeria was almost entrusted to him, is disheartening.
Expressing disappointment, she made it known that she wasn’t trolling him but was dissatisfied with his actions and was in disbelief.
She added that the situation highlights the need for all Nigerians to join hands with President Tinubu and actively contribute to the nation’s progress. She noted how it isn’t a task for just one person alone and it requires dedication.
“His Excellency sir with all due respect @peterobigregory am deeply disappointed by this.
The idea that Nigeria was almost entrusted to you, sir, is disheartening.
This isn’t trolling; I’m genuinely dissatisfied with your actions.
I’m in disbelief. Were you truly committed to taking this country to the next level?
This situation highlights the need for all of us to join hands with Mr President @officialasiwajubat and actively contribute to the nation’s progress.
It’s not a task for one person alone; it requires the dedication of all.
YOUR EXCELLENCY, Mr. Obi, I am profoundly let down. Despite that, you remain one of my favorite politicians.
However, I believe in speaking the truth directly because I love you, but I love Nigeria even more”.
Kemi Filani reported in October that Tonto Dikeh was unveiled as an All Progressive Congress member by the APC women leader.
The news was made known in a statement on the party’s Twitter page, where she was officially welcomed to the party. The news, was however, met with mixed reactions as many dragged her for being a hypocrite.
Speaking out, Tonto stated that she had learned over the years that impactful leadership comes from visionary leaders offering selfless service to humanity. She made it known that she is all about the progress of her country, Nigeria, and the youths of this great nation at large.
