100 students have been expelled by the management of the University of Abuja after the institution established their link to examination malpractice.
Affected by the decision include 72 undergraduate and 28 postgraduate students.
According to the spokesperson of the institution, Habib Yakoob, the decision was reached after the University Senate considered the report and recommendations of the Central Examination Misconduct Committee.
While three students were cleared for having no case, five other undergraduate students were rusticated for one academic session, three were rusticated for one semester. He added that three postgraduate students were also rusticated for one academic session.
