The Lagos State Government has confirmed the Third Mainland Bridge will be fully reopened for traffic next week.
The bridge, which connects the Mainland and Island, will be fully open for traffic again starting on April 4th.
This was contained in a statement by the Lagos Commissioner for Transportation, Oluwaseun Osiyemi on Saturday which officially announced the re-opening on Saturday, March 30th.
Osiyemi said: “Dear Lagos Residents, We’re pleased to share that the Third Mainland Bridge will resume full operations on April 4th, 2024, following extensive repairs.
“We sincerely thank you for your patience and cooperation, and we look forward to even smoother travels ahead.”
