Pastor Adeboye and son at the burial |
Yup you read that right! We can authoritatively tell you that the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God would not have voted if the general elections held on the 14th of February as planned before the postponement.
The reason is because he recently lost his eldest sister, Esther Adetoun, she was aged 83.
We hear she and Pastor Adeboye were so close….so sad. May her soul rest.
She passed away on the 11th of February, due to old age and was buried on the 13th and 14th of February in Ifewara, Osun state – a village that the now Osun state governor had promised to give a local government council but till now didn’t keep his word.
No wonder Adeboye once said “I don’t trust politicians, they come and meet you when they need to win elections and after they win, they don’t keep their word.”
