The
Peoples Democratic Party has repeatedly boasted that it would form a
buoyant opposition but with one of its prominent members sleeping on
duty, the party might struggle to retake power.
At a retreat for
elected PDP National Assembly members in Port Harcourt, Rivers state,
themed “The Role of Opposition in Facilitating Development and Good
Governance”, Governor Nyesom Wike of Rivers barely partook as he slept
off on duty.
