Chelsea Coach Maurizio Sarri has revealed that Eden Hazard is ready to start his first game of the season after coming off the bench in the first two matches against Huddersfield and Arsenal.
Sarri said while speaking at the pre-match press conference ahead of Sunday’s trip to the Tyneside to play Newcastle.
“I think Eden is ready for 50-60 minutes but I don’t know about 90 minutes. He can start.”It seems in his body language that he wants to start?
“Maybe, but I think it’s more important in my mind.”
Are you happy that he’s happy with that situation?
“I am happy with him. He wants to play. It’s the right way to think for him, but I have to think for everybody.”
Chelsea lost 3-0 to Newcastle at St James’ Park last season, The Blues will be aiming to continue their winning start to the season on Sunday.
Sarri also confirmed that Eden Hazard will be staying at Chelsea until the end of the season
