Vice President Yemi Osinbajo has explained why he intends to remain active in politics, stating that giving up on the push for a better Nigeria is not on his table.

Osinbajo said his reason for remaining in active politics is to make positive change.

He stated this during a virtual meeting with “representatives of the Diaspora Professionals for PYO”, a statement by his media aide Laolu Akande said.

“I intend to stay very actively engaged in the politics of our country, because I believe strongly that, if God gives us that opportunity, the change will be swift and we will make a real difference.”

“We must continue to push. If we give up and say let’s see how it goes, we will be much further back than where we started from,” Osinbajo added.

KEMI FILANI NEWS recalls that Osinbajo contested the All Progressive Congress, APC, presidential election in a bid to succeed President Muhammadu Buhari but lost to former Lagos State governor, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu

The law professor came a distant third behind Tinubu and immediate past Minister of Transportation Rotimi Amaechi at the party’s presidential primary election held on June 6-8.
