Governor Nasir El-rufai of Kaduna State has continued to mock supporters of the Labour Party presidential candidate, Peter Obi, saying the desperation of Obidients knows no bound.
He had earlier reacted to a report that a Two Million Man Match will be held in Kaduna State for the presidential candidate.
The announcement for the match was made known on Twitter where El-rufai also reacted.
The Governor mocked that the crowd for the match may have gotten into the state through overnight bus.
He tweeted, “In Kaduna? Not Kaduna Twitter? –
grin grin grin grin grin grin grin grin grin grin grin grin grin grin I hope you get Two Hundred persons on the streets, including those ‘imports’ that can’t open their shops on Mondays, and came on overnight bus last night!!
I jus’ dey laff, wallahi tallahi!”
In a new post, he wrote, “The desperation of so-called ‘Obidients’ knows no bounds….they insult everyone they disagree with, but cannot accept that some find them disagreeable & have opinions too! One of them in Germany found my tweet too hot to handle. @Twitter responded below. I STILL DEY LAFF!”
El-rufai and Obi had had some runnings in the past which saw the Kaduna governor getting detained in a hotel by the Department of State Services in Awka, Anambra State, when Obi was governor.
El-rufai had said, “Peter Obi is a tribal bigot,” El-Rufai tweeted.
“He was widely quoted on national television that the SSS was right to detain me for 48 hours in a hotel in 2014 on the grounds that “El-Rufai has no business being in Anambra State as it is not Katsina State”! I sued the SSS and awarded N4m damages.”
