Terrorists have released three passengers of the Abuja–Kaduna train 24 hours after threatening to kill and sell others as slaves in a video.
KEMI FILANI NEWS had reported that terrorists released a video over the weekend threatening to destroy the country and turn the area into an abattoir unless the federal government complied with their demands.
Kaduna Based Publisher Tukur Mamu, who confirmed their release, said the female and two male passengers have reunited with their family members, Daily Trust reports.
“Yes, three victims have been released, a female and two male. But remember, I’m not part of the negotiation that led to their freedom.” he simply said.
He, however, did not disclose if a ransom was paid before they were released.
Mamu had announced withdrawal from the negotiation, citing threat to his life.
