BREAKING: Kwankwaso clinches NNPP presidential ticket

A former Kano State Governor, Rabiu Kwankwaso, has clinched the presidential ticket of the New Nigeria Peoples Party at the party’s presidential primary election in Abuja.

Kwankwaso emerged as NNPP presidential candidate today after delegates made their choice known by voice vote at the party’s ongoing presidential primary election in the Velodrome of the Moshood Abiola Stadium, Abuja.

The emergence of Kwankwaso is coming few hours after former Lagos State governor, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu defeated Vice President, Prof Yemi Osinbajo, immediate past Minister of Transportation, Rotimi Amaechi to emerge as the presidential candidate of the ruling All Progressive Congress, APC.
