The presidential candidate of the Labour Party, Peter Obi, visited Rivers State, Governor Nyesom Wike for the second time in the space of three months.

Obi’s latest visit is coming barely 48 hours after the official kick-off of the 2023 election campaigns and amid the internal crisis of the Peoples Democratic Party, to which Wike belongs to.
The details and outcome of the meeting were not known at the time of filling this report.
However, on Friday, Wike took to social media to share pictures of the meeting on his Twitter handle.

The Rivers State Governor wrote, “It was nice hosting my brother @PeterObi once again.”
