Presidential candidate of the All Progressive Congress (APC) Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu has taken over the Abuja campaign office of President Muhammadu Buhari ahead of the 2023 election.
A member of the House of Representatives and leader of the Tinubu Support Group, James Faleke, who disclosed this said the office which was opened for Buhari’s campaign in 2019, was donated several days after Tinubu emerged the ruling APC flag bearer.
KEMI FILANI NEWS recalls that Tinubu clinched the APC presidential ticket after defeating immediate past Minister of Transportation, Rotimi Amaechi; Vice President Yemi Osinbajo and 12 other aspirants at the party convention in Eagle Square.
Faleke, who was Tinubu’s agent at the APC convention, disclosed that the campaign office, which was sited in the Central Business District of Abuja, is well equipped with Information and Communication Technology as well as a database, call centre among others.
According to Faleke, the donated office has now been converted to Tinubu Campaign Headquarters, while other existing outlets would become annexes.
The Buhari Campaign Office has become the second space donated to the Tinubu campaign after Kogi State Governor, Yahaya Bello, donated his presidential campaign office to the ruling party’s presidential candidate.
