Movie Review: Locked – Best way to waste your 95 Minutes

    By Ella ChiomaJuly 12, 2020

Are you feeling bored, and need to intentionally waste your 95 minutes? Then log on to Netflix and watch the movie, Locked.

Locked is produced by Nollywood actor and recording artiste, Charles Granville and features other acts like Hilda Dokubo, Belinda Efah, Abayomi Alvin and popular music star, Sunny Neji.

The movie tells the story of a young lady (Belinda Effah) who takes her fiancée (Charles Granville) to visit her parents but discovers her mother killed her father in a psychotic revenge after she finds out he’s about to leave her for a younger woman who already has a son for him.

On sensing the discovery, Mrs Adu (Hilda Dokubo) holds her daughter and her fiancée captive for days to help cover up her mess.

Sadly, things turned around and got messier.

Few casts though, but Locked has quite a ridiculous plot which leaves the viewers in a confusion state.

Abayomi Alvin’s character was quite irrelevant. There was no need for his 4 appearances.

The way the movie ended, flawed scripting and dodgy acting all joined forces to translate Locked into a really poor and boring film to watch.

In conclusion watch Locked at your peril.
