Many injured as BRT buses collide in Ikorodu

Many passengers were injured this morning after a head-on collision involving two high capacity BRT buses at Asolo, Ikorodu road, Lagos.

The accident which occurred on the BRT corridor resulted in traffic gridlock in the area.

Lagos State Traffic Management Authority (LASTMA) confirmed the sad incident.

Eyewitnesses said many who were injured have been taken to the hospital for medical treatment.

This comes days after a truck belonging to Dangote Group of Companies clashed with a BRT bus at Majidun along Ikorodu road in Lagos.

About three persons died in the clash.
