As we approach the end of Ramadan, the last 10 days which we started yesterday shouldn’t be misused.
One of these days is known as Laylat-ul-Qadr ( Night of majesty) on this night, destinies are changed from bad to good, prayers are answered, requests are granted by Allah (SWT).
We shouldn’t miss this opportunity, engage in more dhikir ( remembrance of Allah) wherever you are, sleep less and pray more.
It has been revealed by the prophet that the best prayer or dhikir for these last 10 days is “Allahuma innaka afuwu tuhibul afwa faafuana” meaning “Oh Allah you are the forgive, you love to forgive, so forgive me” if this is said with sincere heart be rest assured all your past sins are forgiven and you are like a new born baby free of sins.
Evidence of this was when Aisha (R. A) the wife of the prophet (S. A. W) said “I asked: “O Messenger of Allah! If I realize Lailat-ul-Qadr (Night of Decree), what should I supplicate in it?” He (ﷺ) replied, “You should supplicate: Allahumma innaka ‘afuwwun, tuhibbul-‘afwa, fa’fu ‘anni (O Allah, You are Most Forgiving, and You love forgiveness; so forgive me).”
