Nigerian singer, Zlatan Ibile didn’t hold back his words as he lashed out at a Nigerian man for calling him an Ex-convict.
The Twitter user while commenting on a post had referred to the singer as an Ex-convict.
“Zlatan sef na Ex-convict”.
The singer didn’t hesitate to lambast him, calling his father an Ex-convict.
“Na your papa be ex-convict no be me lol”.
Zlatan Ibile Arrested By The EFCC In Connection With Internet Fraud
Recall that in 2019, Zlatan Ibile was arrested by the men of the Economic And Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) shortly after his close pal and associate Naira Marley was arrested by the Agency.
His arrest had to do with his support for Naira Marley who released a statement some weeks ago about internet fraud not being a crime.
Both artists also released a song that mocks the people’s perception of them being “Yahoo boys” which prompted EFCC’s curiosity about their ways of life.
EFCC speaks out
Speaking out, The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) explained why it arrested the singers.
Tony Orilade, EFCC spokesman, in a statement, said they were picked up in “connection with an alleged case of internet fraud and money laundering.
“Intelligence reports had also linked them to cybercrime offenses.
“They were arrested along with: Tiamiu Abdulrahman Kayode, Adewunmi Adeyanju Moses, and Abubakar Musa”.
Luckily for him, through the connection of Davido, Zlatan was released.
