Davido unfollows Zlatan Ibile for not defending him against callouts from his camp
Kemi Filani reported that Davido had unfollowed Zlatan Ibile on Instagram 24 hours after he got released from the custody of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission EFCC.
Recall that on Tuesday, May 14, Zlatan Ibile and 3 others were released by the EFCC after being arrested 4 days ago.
A few hours after Zlatan Ibile got released, news broke that the order came from Davido who hired a lawyer on his behalf to bail him.
However, the news was debunked by Aremo Gucci and Ebaycarder, both associates of Zlatan, who said none of those who showed solidarity on social media played any role in securing the rapper’s release.
According to Aremo Gucci, the release was secured by rapper Olamide and dancehall singer Burna Boy.
Angered that the singer didn’t defend him when he got called out by members of his camp, Davido unfollowed him. Not only that, the solidarity message he shared in support of Zlatan was deleted.
We don’t know if this will extend to Zlatan Ibile’s contract with DMW Records owned by Davido.
It is good to see them at Davido and Zlatan had repaired their friendship.
