Nollywood actress, Yvonne Jegede has written a note to the Nigerian police, calling for justice to be served for the late singer, Mohbad.
Yvonne noted how expertise have the resources to pull off the case when they want to, hence, her appeal as she doesn’t want the singer to end up like others.
She stated that she is begging for her mental health and that of others, as she noted how the world is aware of his case. If the singer’s death is swept under the rock, it wouldn’t only be a slap on the giant of Africa but also its entire system.
Appreciating the House of Representatives for also picking interest in his case, she called the attention of the Police to the several videos online, which can help solve the case.
“This case is such a big deal that if justice isn’t served, it will be a big slap on the giant of Africa and its entire judicial system. I trust the Nigerian police @nigeriapoliceforce, I know they have the expertise to pull this off “if and when they want to”. I’m only begging for the mental health of most of us, help us solve this case because the whole world is aware of this case in particular. Plus there are so many loopholes (evidences) online to make finding people to investigate not so complex. 🙏🏽🤲🥹
Thanks to the House of Representatives for picking interest. I am very grateful 🥹👼
If you believe @iammohbad deserves justice, please go to @kafilat.ogbara ‘s page and show appreciation 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽”.

Giving her hope, her colleague, Mary Njoku assured her that the country’s system isn’t that broken as she considers their fears and concerns as a spittle on the face of the Justice system in Nigeria.
According to her, it isn’t only about Mohbad, but about the system that has failed its citizens for so long. She cited an example of how Mohbad filed a police report, but nothing was done on it.
Yvonne Jegede has been among the few celebrities, lending her voice in ensuring the singer gets justice.
Last week, Yvonne had taken a swipe at the disgraced singer, Naira Marley, and his aide, Sam Larry for underestimating Mohbad, who was his former signee.
Sharing clips from Mohbad’s candlelight service which drew in thousands of youths, Yvonne slammed Naira and his crew for underestimating Mohbad, noting how they thought he was an ant, who they could squash easily.
Yvonne added that Naira Marley overestimated himself and hasn’t seen anything yet.
